Dimples

Erica has the cutest dimple in her left cheek! None of the rest of us have any dimples. It's just another thing that makes her so cute and unique. We just can't help but love her chubby little cheeks! She is smiling a lot more now, starting to respond to us talking to her. She's even starting to make cooing sounds, very softly still. I just know that any day now she'll come out with a laugh! She had a doctor's appointment about two weeks ago and weighed 12 pounds, 13 ounces. I bet she's over 13 pounds now. She is growing so fast!

More from Erica's Blessing

Our friends the Siscos blessed their baby, Emma, the same day as Erica. They are only a few weeks apart....a built-in BFF!

Our friends Michele' and Jackson Barner (with Paul in the background).

Four generations: my dad, me, Erica, and my grandma (whom Erica is named after).

We sure know how to throw a great party, don't we?
Eric's parents take a little siesta following the luncheon after church.

Heidi's Gymnastics

Heidi has found a true love with gymnastics. She is getting very good, actually. She is currently doing a summer training session since she has been invited to be on the team. At the end of the summer they will determine which level she will compete in. A few months ago we didn't think she would be able to remain in gymnastics due to the conflict with church obligations. We spoke with her coaches, however, and they said it would not need to be an issue. She could miss any of the competitions or practices which interfered with church. Heidi was thrilled!
Note: I tried to add video of Heidi in action, but I couldn't get them to upload. I will continue to work on this so you can see her!

Me and My Girls

I am so lucky to have two sweet little babies! They are my girls. Of course you would say that I have three girls, but I definitely consider Heidi to be a young lady now! She is so grown up, I can't believe it sometimes.

Murder Mystery Dinner

A few weeks ago some of our friends hosted a Murder Mystery Dinner night. We were assigned characters to dress up as -- celebrities from the 60's. I was Judy Garland (hence the Dorothy outfit), and Eric was John Wayne. We had a lot of fun acting as our characters for the evening!

Erica's Blessing

Little Erica Belle White

We blessed Erica on Sunday, July 6th. We were so lucky to have so many of our friends and family there to share it with us! I made her dress myself. It took over our dining room table for about two weeks, but it got finished! I was really pleased with the result.

Welcome!

To keep everyone up-to-date with what's going on in our world, I've decided to start this blog. I plan on updating it at least once a month, so feel free to check it frequently! I hope you enjoy a glimpse at....Life at the White House!
